Why choose KK Studio?
KK Studio is a boutique dance studio located on Bowen Island. It is a safe place where your imagination & creativity can dance freely. Our mission is to help mold, train & guide all students in a safe, supportive, encouraging, inspiring & positive environment. The KK Studio Faculty are accomplished professionals in their field & are a reflection of Ms. Konno’s high standards. Some of Kelly Konno’s past students have gone on to perform with industry juggernauts such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Pink, Rihanna, Beyonce & many others.
What is the age requirement to start training at KK Studio?
4yrs + as of September 2025.
Is KK Studio Competitive or Recreational?
We’re both! We have 3 competitive Youth teams Plus our Bowen Adult Dance Team (B.A.D.) who will compete in 2 local Dance Competitions. Attending a competition or festival will be at Ms. Konno’s discretion. We also offer recreational classes for Youth & Adults.
What classes are available to adults?
Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary & Tap
What fees are involved?
Monthly tuition is based on the # of classes student is enrolled in.
Other fees: Registration ($50), Costume ($50-$100), Year End Show Performer Fee ($50), Year End Show Tickets ($25)
What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit Card or Cheque
What happens when you miss a class?
Classes cancelled by KK Studio will be rescheduled if possible or a class credit will be applied to students account (excluding classes cancelled due to force majeure. Classes missed by students are non-refundable. KK Studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrolment.

Will there be class photos taken?
Yes! Picture week will happen for all youth classes in April.
When is the Year End Show?
End of MAY @ BICS
Who participates in the Year End Show (Y.E.S.) Performance?
Our KKS youth students & the Bowen Adult Dance Team, will perform in our Year End Show Performance.
It is a fun & exciting way to wrap up a year of hard work. Year End Show tickets will go on sale closer to show dates.
Will there be a KK Studio SUMMER Camp or Intensive?
Yes!

KK Studio is on Bowen Island, in lower Artisan Sq. (#102 – 566 Artisan Lane)
